Wuhan East Lake 1

6. Houguan Lake

Houguan Lake is located in caidian district, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, between the Third Ring Road and the Second Ring Road in Wuhan City. It is the second largest lake in caidian district with beautiful scenery. Houguan Lake was originally a part of Cainan Lake water system.

7. Zhangdu Lake

Zhangdu lake is located at the southeast end of Xinzhou District, with a water area of 60,000 mu. Zhangdu lake, located at the southeast end of Xinzhou District, Wuhan, is the nearest wetland in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The lake is 4.5 kilometers wide from east to west and 6 kilometers long from north to south. Lake bottom elevation17.7m, maximum water depth 2.3m..
