After Zhu Youlang was defeated, Sun Kewang welcomed him to Guizhou. He was instigated by the eunuchs and wanted to replace Zhu Youlang in Zen. Zhu Youlang summoned Li Dingguo to join the army, and settled in Kunming from Guizhou. He took Gongyuan as his official position. Kunming became the last political center of the Southern Ming Dynasty and was called the capital of Dian at that time. The descendant Sun Ke was expected to surrender to the Qing Dynasty, but he fought back and was defeated by Li Dingguo. Zhu Youlang immediately moved to Wuhua Mountain, using the Qin Palace as his palace, and built a palace in Wuhua, called the Longevity Palace.
