Where is Zhongmu Martyrs Cemetery?

Zhongmu Martyrs Cemetery is a cultural tourist attraction and a classic scenic spot of red tourism.

Zhongmou county Martyrs Cemetery is located on the south side of the west section of Qingnian Road. Built in September 1958, it covers an area of 100 mu and belongs to the cultural relics protection unit in Zhengzhou. 1995 was rated as an advanced unit of cultural relics management by the Provincial Civil Affairs Department, 1999 10 was named as a patriotic education base by the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Education Commission in October, and 1998 was rated as an advanced unit of the county civil affairs system for four consecutive years since 2002.

There is a magnificent memorial tower for revolutionary martyrs in the park, 30 meters high and 3,200 square meters. Every time people from all walks of life go to Tomb-Sweeping Day County, they will hold collective mourning activities here. Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall is 2024 square meters. Revolutionary Martyrs Exhibition Hall is 6 16 square meters, which mainly collects the relics and deeds of 234 martyrs in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the founding of New China and the self-defense counterattack. There are three commentators in the park, who are responsible for explaining the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs who died for their country during the war years, carrying forward the spirit of revolutionary martyrs and educating future generations to love the motherland. There are three revolutionary martyrs' memorial pavilions and six revolutionary martyrs' monuments engraved with the names, places of origin, troops and time of sacrifice of the martyrs. There are 45 revolutionary martyrs buried in the park. 45 martyrs' tombstones are neatly arranged on the south side of the cemetery. There is an urn of revolutionary martyrs on the west side of the memorial hall, which contains the urn of 2 1 soldier who sacrificed for the motherland and people during the founding of the People's Republic of China.

There are three memorial pavilions in the cemetery, and the memorial pavilion on the north side is mainly the heroic deeds of the famous martyr Sun who saved his compatriots. The three monuments in the middle memorial pavilion record the names, units and home addresses of 129 martyrs. According to the memorial pavilion in the south, in June of 1948, a certain unit of the East China Field Army attacked Kaifeng and blocked Zhengzhou's enemy aid to the east in Baishachong area. In order to ensure the liberation of Kaifeng, more than 20,000 people from 9 regiments were blocked, 20 enemy tanks were killed in the middle, 4 planes were killed, and each regiment was 1 unit. On the way eastward along the Zhengzhou-Bian Railway, our county will stop and defeat the enemy's victory.
