At present, mainland tourists visiting Taiwan are group tours, limited to more than 5 people and less than 40 people; One person can apply to go to Taiwan Province for the individual tour to be opened this year. Individual tour will be compared with the double examination system of group tour. You must first obtain a mainland pass to Taiwan, and then apply to Taiwan Province Province for a pass to Taiwan. The visa is valid for three months (group tours are shorter than six months). 2011June 12 At the Third Straits Forum held in Xiamen, Shao Qiwei, director of the National Tourism Administration, announced that the "individual tour" of mainland residents to Taiwan would be officially launched on June 28th, with the first batch of pilot cities being Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen. The two sides also agreed to open individual tours for Fujian residents to Jinmen, Mazu and Penghu, and to negotiate specific implementation arrangements as soon as possible. Wang Yi, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, announced that from now on, non-Fujian residents who plan to stay in Xiamen for more than 1 month can travel to Kinmen in Xiamen. ● The qualifications for mainland tourists to travel freely to Taiwan are divided into two categories: first, adults over the age of 20 need to provide one of the economic certificates such as real estate, deposit or credit card limit; Second, students above 18 do not need to issue economic certificates. ● The proof of economic source provided by mainland tourists can be proof of real estate, proof of deposit of NT$ 200,000 (about RMB50,000), or proof of annual salary of NT$ 550,000 (about RMB6,543,800+RMB2,300). ● The two sides of the strait do not adopt the deposit system, but adopt the "double insurance" system. That is, on the one hand, mainland tourists need to provide 1 mainland relatives as emergency contacts; On the other hand, the travel agency responsible for handling entry documents in Taiwan Province Province should also bear the responsibility of insurance, and both conditions are indispensable. ● Mainland tourists who want to travel freely to Taiwan also need to take out travel safety insurance of more than NT$ 2 million, and the insurance amount should be in line with the number of days of free travel to Taiwan. ● According to the current preliminary planning of the two sides of the strait, the number of mainlanders will be strictly limited in the initial stage of free travel to Taiwan, with a daily limit of 500. The entry permit period is three months, and the maximum stay at one time is 15 days. You can apply for an extension of up to seven days at a time. ● If mainland tourists fail to return within the time limit, Taiwan Province Province will first notify the mainland emergency contact person and the travel agency to look for them. Those who have not returned for more than 7 days, mainland tourists and mainland emergency contacts will be recorded in Taiwan Province files, and they are not allowed to go to Taiwan in any name for 3 years.
