The Origin and Destination of Liaohe River
Liaohe River is a river in the southeast of China. It was called Juli River before Han Dynasty, Daliao River in Han Dynasty and Liaohe River after Five Dynasties. Liaohe River originates from Guangtou Mountain, seven old Mountain Range, Pingquan City, Hebei Province, and flows through Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Jilin and Liaoning provinces (autonomous regions). The total length is1.345km, and it flows into the Bohai Sea, with a drainage area of 21.9000km2.. It is one of the seven rivers in China.
Affected by the climate, the Liaohe River Basin has frequent floods, with an average of 7-8 years of major floods and an average of 2-3 years of general floods. Liaohe river basin is one of the water-deficient areas in China, especially in the middle and lower reaches. Due to a large number of human factors, Liaohe River has become one of the most polluted rivers in China. The water in Liaohe River can't live, can't be irrigated and can't be drunk by people and animals.

Liaohe River has two sources, the east source is called Dongliao River and the west source is called Xiliao River. The two sources meet with Xiyuan in Fudian, Changtu County, Liaoning Province, which is called Liaohe River. Generally, Xiliao River is the positive source, with Xiliao River in the south and Xilamulun River in the north. These two sources meet at the junction of Onniute Banner and Naiman Banner, which is the mainstream of the West Liaohe River.
From southwest to northeast, it flows through Pingquan City, Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia Wengniute Banner, Naiman Banner, Kailu County, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia, and shuangliao city City, Jilin Province, and continues to flow eastward into Jiaolai River, the right tributary of Baiyin Tarana in Horqin Zuoyi Banner. After the small tile house joins the Wulijimulun River from the north, it turns northeast-southwest, enters Liaoning Province, and joins the East Liaohe River in Changtu County.
