Dalian is located on the east coast of Eurasia, at the southernmost tip of Liaodong Peninsula in northeast China, east longitude 120 degrees 58 minutes, north latitude 123 degrees 3 1, north latitude 3843 minutes, north latitude 10 minutes 40 degrees, bordering the Yellow Sea in the east, Bohai Sea in the west, Shandong Peninsula across the sea in the south and Shandong Peninsula in the north.
