Summer vacation diary

On August 10, my mother and I went to Beidaihe for a trip.

Because the most fun thing in Beidaihe is the seaside, so we came there from the beginning. We were going to pick up shells on the beach and swim in the sea.

My mother and I were collecting shells at the beach, while my mother-in-law rented a deck chair and sat on it, bathing in the warmth of the sun. Whenever the waves hit the shore, my mother and I would carefully observe whether there were any beautiful and complete shells in the water. After a while, I found a shell in the sea that met the conditions we wanted. I immediately stepped on it with my feet and waited for the waves to subside before picking it up again. I looked carefully and found that it was uneven on the outside and was black, and it was also uneven on the inside and was colored. I showed it to my mother and mother-in-law, and they both said it looked good and complimented me on my good taste.

Later, my mother and I picked up many more shells. In order to prevent the shells from becoming less beautiful and less moist, we put them back into the sea so that they would remain beautiful forever.

After picking up the shells, I changed into my swimsuit and swam in the sea.

Since my mother can’t swim, she can only watch me from the sidelines.

As soon as I got into the water, I felt very cool, so I swam happily, first breaststroke, then freestyle, then backstroke...

Overall, my day was very happy!
