Dalu Island is located on the Pishan Ocean Sea about 15 kilometers southeast of the land in Yuhuan County. It consists of two islands, Dalu and Xiaolu, connected by shoals, collectively called Dalu Island. The total area is 1.75 square kilometers and the coastline is 5.45 kilometers long. Legend has it that there is a Liuyao flower sacred deer in the heaven. In order to steal green seeds and sow them in the world, it was struck by a thunderbolt and fell into the sea. The island got its name from the legend, and also from the shape of the mountain resembling a deer holding its head high above the sea. In November 2007, it was rated as a national 4A tourist scenic spot. Dalu Mountain was originally a desert island with no trails, piles of rocks and no trees.

Dalu Island is named after the beautiful legend of Lu Dongbin’s immortal deer falling into the sea. Accommodation in Dalu Island is monopolized. There are two hotels, Ludao Villa and Resort. There are no B&Bs. Ludao Villa is divided into Buildings A and B: Building B is an old house with a strategic location. The north-facing rooms have windows that open to the sea. But the old house also has its disadvantages: the water is too small! How small is it? So small that it is difficult to take a bath! Since Building A is a new house, the water pressure is relatively stable and the water output is normal. Therefore, its housing price is slightly higher than that of Tower B. The front desk has now been moved to Tower A, and there is no front desk in Tower B.
