I think the charm of science fiction comes from imagination, because works like Three-body and The Wandering Earth make us more interested in science, and so does my own situation. I learned a lot of scientific knowledge, such as solar eclipse and solar flare. With the present technology, we can only detect a small part of the universe. So most of the universe is unexplored, and we don't know what will be in it. At this time, there will be speculation. My guess is that there are other human beings of CNOOC in the universe, but they live far away, maybe dozens or hundreds of light years away from us. Their life will be better than ours, full of technological modernization, and all kinds of technologies are readily available. Space tourism is a very common thing for them. This is my view of the universe. Everyone's fantasy is actually different.

Science fiction and science are inseparable, and science fiction may be based on science. Just like there is a lot of scientific knowledge in the three-body system, it is difficult for me as a liberal arts student to understand. Like what curvature drive can reach the speed of light, I don't know what this concept is. But it didn't prevent me from watching three-body movies. I really learned a lot of scientific knowledge. But also gave birth to my interest in scientific knowledge, so that I can better understand science fiction works. Although it is essentially for reading science fiction works, it really strengthens my scientific literacy. This kind of thing is acceptable to me, and scientific knowledge is quite interesting, not as complicated and stuffy as the legend, which also changes my view on scientific knowledge.

So I think the charm of science lies in its accuracy and imagination. What is accurate is that the numerical value in the calculation is extremely accurate and all kinds of truth theorems are very accurate. Imagination is very important, which is also innovative thinking. Sometimes an idea casually put forward may actually be implemented, which is also uncertain.
