Belonging to Guizhou minority scenic spots, it has a high cost performance and is worth recommending more than seven small archways.

This scenic spot is called Maolan, which is a world natural and cultural heritage. Located in Libo County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, bordering Guangxi, with an altitude of 430-1078m, an area of 2 1285 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 87.4%. It is a national nature reserve.

Maolan, like Guilin in Guangxi, is a karst landform, with peaks rising from the ground and roads winding in it, just like walking into a maze. Different from the seven small archways, there are also some minority villages in Maolan Scenic Area, such as Shui, Yao and Buyi, who have lived here for generations. For tourists, this is a scenic spot, but for them, this is home. If you like cultural experience, you can go to the village to see their buildings and batiks. Sometimes enthusiastic villagers will invite you to have lunch with them.

Although Daqi Xiaopaifang is more famous and has more tourists, many people who have been to Maolan think Maolan is more worthy of recommendation than Daqi Xiaopaifang. Why? First, because the tickets are relatively cheap, seven small arches package 130 yuan, Maolan tickets to 50 yuan. Second, because Maolan is not fully developed, it is more primitive and closer to nature, and the quiet tourist experience is less and better; Third, the scenery of Maolan is similar to that of the seven small archways, with mountains, water and waterfalls.

Therefore, after comprehensive comparison, many people think that Maolan is more cost-effective and worth recommending, because I have been to both places. If you ask my opinion, I will say that if there is not much time, my friend who just punched in suggested going to Qixiao Arch, because there is a shuttle bus and the traffic is more convenient. If you are going to road trip, recommend friends who like deep swimming to Maolan, and you will find many small surprises.
