The Asong branch has the smallest population among the Hani branches in Honghe County. There are only 71 households in the county, including 25 households in Tony Village, 41 households in Qezhu Village, and 5 farm households in Yuma Township. Because the Asong branch lives far away from the inhabited areas of other Hani branches, people in the county know little about them.
