Benxi Water Cave Scenic Area is located in the eastern suburbs of Benxi City, Liaoning Province, 28 kilometers away from the center of Benxi. It is the longest underground water-filled cave discovered in the world.

Benxi Water Cave was opened to the public in 1983 and is a national key scenic spot. In 1997, it was accepted as the first batch of members in Asia by the International Cave Association.
