"Immersion" Construction and Operation in Cultural Tourism Projects

In recent years, various immersive experiences have appeared in performances, exhibitions, tourist attractions, industrial parks, hotels and other spaces. People can feel the transformation between virtual and reality in different forms of indoor and outdoor space. At present, immersive experience has become a new hot spot of cultural tourism consumption, covering almost all fields of cultural tourism industry.

The Big Silo is the first industrial site digital art museum and meta-cosmic experience space in China. It was opened in Shekou Value Factory on June 30, 2022, and the extension period is from July 2022 1 to March 3, 20231. Nearly 60 artists from all over the world gathered in this big silo. They use their imagination and creativity, from VR, AR, real-time rendering to holographic images and sensing, to create an immersive metacosmic experience space.

In operation, the big silo has achieved the goals of IP empowerment, interesting interactive experience and creative topics. Since its opening, it has attracted audiences from all over the country to visit and experience, and has become the latest holy place for digital art punching.
