To extend the service life of a car, the owner needs to bring relevant application materials to the vehicle management office. The required procedures mainly include motor vehicle owner's identity certificate, motor vehicle driving license, motor vehicle registration certificate, motor vehicle third party liability compulsory insurance certificate and motor vehicle inspection form. After the owner submits the application, the vehicle management office will review and test the owner and the vehicle applying for delaying the car scrapping period according to the application materials. If the situation meets the requirements, the vehicle management office will issue a certificate agreeing to extend the car scrapping period.

Generally speaking, different types of vehicles have different delay times, which can be divided into the following situations:

1.9-seat and below non-operating buses have a service life of 15 years. Check every 2 years for the first 6 years 1 time, and then 1 year. After the service life exceeds 15 years, it shall be inspected every six months 1 time. If approved, it can be extended indefinitely, and the endorsement can be extended to 1 February 19991day.

2, more than 9 non-operating passenger cars scrapped for 10 years, can apply for extension to 20 years;

3. The service life of tourist buses is 10 year, which can be extended to 20 years;

4. Operating passenger cars, with the service life of 10 years, which can be extended to 15 years;

5. The service life of light trucks and large trucks is 10 years, which can be extended to 15 years;

6./kloc-minivans and taxis with less than 0/9 seats will be scrapped for 8 years without extension;

Taxis with more than 7.20 seats will be scrapped for 8 years, which can be extended to 12 years;

8. Trucks and mining vehicles with trailers can be scrapped for 8 years, and can be extended to 12 years;

9. Special vehicles such as cranes, fire engines, drilling trucks and special operation vehicles are scrapped for 10 years, and an appropriate extension can be applied. The endorsement is valid until1February 3, 9991day;

10, full trailer, scrapped 10 years, can apply for extension to 15 years;

1 1, semi-trailer, scrapped 10 years, can apply for extension to 15 years;

12, semi-trailer tractor, scrapped for 10 years, can apply for extension to 15 years;

13, three-wheeled agricultural vehicles, scrapped for 6 years, can apply for extension to 9 years;

14, four-wheeled agricultural vehicle, scrapped for 9 years, can apply for extension to12;

15, tricycle, scrapped for 7 to 9 years, can apply for extension to 10 to 12 years;

16, for other motorcycles, the retirement life is 8 years to 10 years, which can be extended to10/year to 13 years;

17, for other vehicles, the retirement life is 10 year, and you can apply for an extension to 15 year.
