Regulations of Gansu Province on Tourism

Article 4 The tourism authorities of the people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the guidance, supervision, management and service of tourism within their respective administrative areas.

Chapter II Tourism Planning and Tourism Development Article 8 People's governments at or above the county level with conditions for tourism development should incorporate the development of tourism into their national economic and social development plans, establish a comprehensive coordination mechanism, give play to the basic role of the market in allocating resources, increase investment through multiple channels, strengthen the construction of tourism infrastructure, supporting service facilities and tourist attractions (spots), and promote the coordinated development of tourism and related industries. Article 9 The planning of tourism development and scenic spots (spots) shall be based on the overall planning of national economic and social development, and connected with the planning of land use, urban construction, environmental resources protection, cultural relics protection and scenic spots. Tenth people's governments at or above the county level shall, according to the needs of tourism development, gradually increase financial investment, set up special funds for tourism development, and include them in the annual budget.
