Matters needing attention in North Korea visa application:

3. To apply for a tourist visa to North Korea, you must go to a regular travel agency with outbound travel qualifications to apply for a group tour visa (specifically, you need to consult travel agencies and other institutions that go to North Korea ports), and the stay period is generally within 7 days;
4. The agency in charge of foreigners' entry and exit management and visa extension in the DPRK is the Exit and Entry Bureau of the Ministry of National Security of the DPRK. The validity period of the DPRK visa is calculated from the date of issuance, and the duration of stay is calculated from the date of entry into the DPRK;
5. According to the North Korean visa regulations, you must enter and leave the country within the validity period of the visa, that is, the time spent in the DPRK is included in the validity period of the visa and must not exceed the validity period of the visa.
Preparations for North Korea's tourism exit;
1. Please bring the original ID card in case of irregular inspection by China border guards (the border guards will only check the ID card if they have the same name as the inspectors);
2. North Korea Customs does not allow guests to bring mobile phones into the country. Please take care of your mobile phone before going abroad. If you forget to store it, please contact our China team leader in time. These are all voluntary.
To sum up, according to the agreement between the two countries, North Korean citizens holding ordinary passports for diplomatic, official and business purposes can enter the DPRK without a visa, and the stay period does not exceed 30 days, but they can only visit the DPRK at the invitation of the reception unit of the DPRK.

Article 12
Under any of the following circumstances, China citizens are not allowed to leave the country:
(1) Failing to hold a valid exit-entry certificate or refusing or evading border inspection;
(two) the punishment has not been completed or belongs to the defendant or criminal suspect in a criminal case;
(three) there are unresolved civil cases, and the people's court decides not to leave the country;
(4) Being subject to criminal punishment for obstructing the administration of the country (border) or being repatriated by other countries or regions for illegal exit, illegal residence or illegal employment, and not allowed to leave the country within the prescribed time limit;
(five) may endanger national security and interests, the relevant authorities in the State Council decided not to leave the country;
(6) Other circumstances under which exit from the country is prohibited by laws and administrative regulations.
