Where to see elephants in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan

In xishuangbanna tourism, there are only two places where elephants can be seen: Man Ting Park and Wild Elephant Valley. Man Ting Park Man Ting Park is located in the southeast of Jinghong City, the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, about 2 kilometers away from the urban area, in the triangle where Lancang River and Liusha River meet, covering an area of more than 400 mu. There are several elephants in Man Ting Park, which are supposed to be for tourists to play. You can take pictures, ride and feed, but you need to pay.

Wild Elephant Valley Wild Elephant Valley is located in Sancha River, north of Mengyang Town, Jinghong City. Located in the south of Mengyang Nature Reserve, about 50 kilometers away from Jinghong City, the state capital. The traffic is very convenient. It is the most charming forest park and scenic spot to watch wild elephants in Xishuangbanna.

Wild Elephant Valley allows visitors to observe Asian wild elephants and their living environment safely without disturbing their lives. It has become the only place in China where they can communicate with Asian wild elephants at close range, and is known as "the bridge between human beings and Asian wild elephants".
