In recent years, Vietnam's tourism industry has been a positive and powerful new driving force for development and a bright future.

In 20 18, Vietnam received about15.5 million foreign tourists, up by 19.9% year-on-year, and 80 million domestic tourists. The total tourism revenue reached 620 trillion Vietnamese dong. This is the third consecutive year that Vietnam's tourism industry has risen on the world tourism map. In the first half of 20 19, Vietnam received 9 million foreign tourists, up 9% year-on-year, which is expected to set a new record for attracting foreign tourists. The successful hosting of the ASEAN Tourism Conference in Xia Long, Quang Ninh Province on June 20 19 has brought many new changes in the development of ASEAN tourism product chain, which is helpful to promote beautiful, friendly and safe tourist destinations in Vietnam.

According to the proposal of "restructuring to meet the requirements of developing tourism into a cutting-edge economic industry" approved by the Vietnamese government, Vietnam is committed to becoming a leading country in Southeast Asia in 2025, with 30 million to 32 million foreign tourists, 65.438+300 million domestic tourists, 45 billion US dollars in tourism revenue and about 27 billion US dollars in export through tourism. The contribution rate of tourism to GDP is 10%, providing 6 million jobs, including 2 million direct jobs, and more than 70% have received tourism business and skills training.

More and more places pay attention to strengthening the management of destinations, ensuring the safety order and food hygiene and safety, and dealing with the phenomenon of zero-yuan tourism, so as to make tourism a local cutting-edge economic industry, which is helpful to join hands with other places in Vietnam to give full play to the spirit of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee's resolution 08-NQ/TW on developing tourism into a national cutting-edge economic industry.

More and more domestic and foreign groups, companies and strategic investors invest in the development of high-end hotels, resorts and tourist attractions on the basis of the spirit of "Vietnam's tourism development strategy to 2020, looking forward to 2030" and "Vietnam's tourism development strategy to 2030, looking forward to 2050", combined with the key tourism proposals approved by the Vietnamese Prime Minister, and directly contribute to the improvement of infrastructure and human resources. The above trends have had a positive impact and a strong demonstration effect on the driving force and prospect of Vietnam's tourism development.
