What should you pay attention to when traveling to Mount Fanjing?

Fanjingshan Travel Guide Fanjingshan is located at the junction of Yinjiang, Jiangkou and Songtao counties in Tongren, Guizhou Province. It is an area where the Miao and Tujia people live together. With an altitude of more than 2,400 meters, it is a famous Buddhist temple and is known as "No. 1 in Mount Guizhou". The Huguo Temple at the foot of the mountain has been around since the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and is known as the "Wanshi Huang'an". It is said that the Buddhist monk who presides over the Buddhist name is currently ranked seventh in Chinese Buddhism. He is 93 years old and has a childlike appearance. He claims to live to be 115 years old, but there is no way to verify it. There is Zhenguo Temple on the top of the mountain, which is small in scale, but it is said that the lottery is very magical. Fanjing Mountain is a initially developed tourist area with a large area of ??undeveloped virgin forest. Not only is the vegetation coverage good, but there are also rare wild animals such as Guizhou golden monkeys. The scenery is beautiful, with peaks and rocks on the mountain, waterfalls and springs, forest seas and waves. If you are lucky, you can also see the sunrise and the Buddha's light. Of course, there is another reason why it is famous, and that is its 7896 steps, which are daunting. This is also something that the locals are proud of. They said that many people who seemed to be in good physical strength were eventually carried up. When many travel friends talk about Fanjing Mountain, most of them only talk about the nearly 8,000 steps, and there is only one way up and down, which is of course scary. In fact, this refers to the uphill route from the river mouth. Most travel enthusiasts don’t know that there is a flat road to climb Fanjing Mountain that is quite easy to walk, and that is the route from the Yinjiang direction. 2. Route 1), Jiangkou Mountaineering Route:

1. Generally divided into two routes: Guiyang direction and Tongren direction a. Guiyang direction: Take the tourist train from Guiyang to Yuping, departing from Guiyang at 7:40 in the morning. Arrive at Yuping around 2:30 pm, the ticket is 52 yuan. Transfer to the long-distance bus to Jiangkou (generally called Fanjingshan), 20 yuan, and it takes about 2.5 hours to reach Jiangkou County. b Tongren direction: You can take a long-distance bus directly to Jiangkou in about one hour, and the fare is 10 yuan. Generally, tourists from Hunan can take long-distance buses from Huaihua, Jishou, Fenghuang and other places to Tongren. You can also fly directly to Tongren from Guiyang and other places. Tongren has an airport, but it is a small plane. The fare is 300, which is about 20 minutes.

2. After arriving at Jiangkou, take a taxi to Heiwanhe (the gate of Mount Fanjing). It costs 5 yuan per person. It is 30 kilometers and takes about half an hour.

3. Start from the mountain gate and walk 9.2km along the cement winding mountain to reach the climbing steps, which is the starting point of the 8,000 steps. This section generally takes a taxi, which costs 10 yuan per person one way and takes about 20 minutes.

4. The eight thousand steps are generally divided into four sections: a. It is better to walk at 3,600 steps. There are several resting pavilions in the middle, probably at 1000, 1800, 2500 and 3200 steps. There are restaurants. Water supply, can be used as a replenishment station; b. Steps 3,600 to 4,500 are the most difficult section, the steps are steep, and there is no replenishment station in the middle. c. Steps 4,500 to 6,700 are relatively easy to walk, but the distance is longer and there are no supplementary stops. This is also called the sun viewing platform, which is the place to watch the sunrise. d. Not far above 6,700, you will reach Zhenguo Temple, a flat area where you can rest for a while before attacking the Golden Summit. It takes about 4 hours for those with good physical strength to climb the steps. If you are not physically strong, you can ask the slider to lift you up and the price will be determined by the pound (like selling meat, ha). 2) Yinjiang Mountaineering Route 1. You can take a long-distance bus from Zunyi or Tongren to Yinjiang County. Tongren to Yinjiang is 150km, 40 yuan, about 3 hours. I haven't traveled in the direction of Zunyi, so I don't know. 2. Take a minibus from Yinjiang to Huguo Temple (the gate of Mount Fanjing) for about 2.5 hours. 3. Then drive up for about 7km, which takes about half an hour, to reach the Mianxuling parking lot. 4. Hike up the mountain from here. The mountain road is flat and easy to walk. It usually takes 2 to 2.5 hours to reach the Zhenguo Temple on the top of the mountain. The scenery is beautiful and open-minded. Sections 2 and 3 may not be accurate enough in terms of time since I took a ride down, but it’s not too outrageous. 3) Recommended routes For tourists in different situations, you can choose one of the following routes:

1. Go up the mountain in the direction of Jiangkou and go down the mountain in the direction of Yinjiang. This is the route that the author took, and its characteristic is that it can be more Comprehensively appreciate the style of Mount Fanjing. It takes 4 to 5 hours to go up the mountain and 1 hour to go down the mountain.

2. Go up the mountain in the direction of Jiangkou and return the same way. It is suitable for super Zn travel friends. The characteristic is that there are nearly 16,000 steps in the whole journey, and there is no scenery, which is very challenging. If you go up and down in the same day, it will be even more enjoyable. The author originally wanted to take this route, but later accidentally learned that you can go down the mountain from the direction of Yinjiang, so I changed my mind. It takes 4 to 5 hours to go up the mountain and 2 to 3 hours to go down.

3. Go up the mountain in the direction of Yinjiang and go down the mountain in the direction of Jiangkou. It is suitable for tourists who are relaxed and challenged. The characteristic is that it is relatively easy to go up the mountain and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, but it is not easy to go down the mountain, which requires nearly 8,000 steps. Generally speaking, your legs will not bend within a day or two. It takes 2 to 2.5 hours to go up the mountain, and maybe 2 to 3 hours to go down. 4. Go up the mountain in the direction of Yinjiangkou, and go down the mountain the same way, easy level. It takes 2~2.5 hours to go up the mountain and 1~1.5 hours to go down the mountain. No matter which route you choose, you can choose to go up and down the mountain on the same day (if you start climbing early in the morning), or you can stay on the mountain for one night and watch the sunrise the next day before going down. 2. Food and accommodation 1. Route towards Jiangkou: Generally there are two options: staying at the foot of the mountain at Blackwater Bay and the top of the mountain. It is not recommended to stay in Jiangkou County. a Those who live at the foot of the mountain usually do so in order to climb the mountain in the morning. The mountain gate opens at 6:00 in the morning, and the bus is only available at 7:00. Generally, it is best to start entering the mountain at 7:00. There are Wolong Villa and Post and Telecommunications Hotel to choose from. The former is slightly better, while the latter is cheaper, with beds at 15 yuan and standard rooms at 180 yuan.

b. The purpose of staying at the top of the mountain is to watch the sunrise in the morning. Generally, you can enter the mountain before 9:00 pm. It depends on whether there is a car entering the mountain gate. It is only suitable for three people or more, unless you charter a car. There is Zhenguo Temple and another hotel on the top of the mountain. It is said that the conditions are not good, but the price is cheap, 20 or 30 yuan per bed. 2. The route in the direction of Yinjiang: It is relatively free. You can stay in Yinjiang County, or near the Huguo Temple at the foot of the mountain, or you can stay at the top of the mountain, because this route is easier and takes less time. 3. There are farm meals along the way, so you don’t have to worry about eating. In addition, the author is not very particular about eating, so I mention very little about food. My gourmet friends, please forgive me. 3. Main attractions: Golden Dome, Mushroom Rock, Sunrise, Buddha Light; Ten Thousand Meter Sleeping Buddha, Laoshan Holy Land, Primitive Forest, King Ziwei (the tallest crape myrtle tree in the world, more than 30 meters high, more than 300 years old, 3 and 5 years old) It blooms once a year), Huguo Temple (one of the four imperial nunneries), the monument to the meeting of the 2nd and 6th Red Fronts, etc., and the following places are all in the direction of Yinjiang. 4. Tickets and fare evasion The tickets for entering the mountain in both directions are 50 yuan. Fare evasion is not possible in the Yinjiang direction because ticket purchase and ticket inspection are not in the same place. You can evade fares in the direction of Jiangkou. The method is as follows: there is a parking lot next to the mountain gate, and there is a stream next to it. You can bypass the mountain gate with Shuo River. But it’s best to go there at least before 5:30, because the mountain gate opens at 6:00, and people will get up before 6:00. Also, even if it succeeds, there is still a 9km road and a 2.5-hour walk (too early, there is no car to enter the mountain). Whether it is worth it or not, you have to weigh it yourself. The best time should be mid-May, when the azaleas all over the mountain are in bloom, making them colorful and enchanting. 6. Travel Recommendations If you want to play by yourself, feel free to do so. If you are a group, it is recommended to go from the direction of Yinjiang, because the tourism services there are better than those at Jiangkou. For details, please contact Ms. Yang Li of Ziwei Travel Agency: 1359561322. She is enthusiastic, serious and responsible. Moderators, please don’t think that I am advertising for anyone. I just received their help unintentionally. At the same time, I feel the enthusiasm of the people in the old district for Shenzhen guests. I would like to use this to encourage them. It can also be regarded as my ardent hope for the leaders and villagers from all walks of life. Please repay me (see my Fanjingshan travel diary for details, attached later). 7. Precautions 1. Pack as lightly as possible, wear short clothes and short sleeves, and wear non-slip shoes. 2. Bring 1 or 2 bottles of sports drinks, and one bottle of mineral water is enough. You can keep replenishing it on the way. One bottle of spring water on the mountain costs one yuan; A little dry food 3. Bring rain gear in case it rains.

4. If you climb a mountain at night, bring a headlamp or flashlight.

5. Heatstroke is generally not a problem, but you will sweat profusely, so a towel is a must
