Traffic profile

Located in the southeast corner of Jimei, it covers an area of nearly 9, square meters. Originally an island off the southeast coast of Jimei, there was a small temple called Aotou Palace, also known as Li Qian Palace. It was built by Chen Jiageng in 195 in ten years. It consists of three parts: the porch, Jimei Liberation Monument and Chen Jiageng Mausoleum.

The design of the porch is exquisite and free, and the wall of the hatchback is engraved with serial group carvings. In the center of the park stands the "Jimei Liberation Monument", with the inscription of President Mao Zedong on the front and Teacher Chen Jiageng on the back. The whole monument is 28.6 meters high and is made of granite. The base has two floors, the lower floor has eight steps and the upper floor has three steps. It symbolizes eight years of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and three years of liberation war, surrounded by green stone pillars.

On the south side of the monument is Chen Jiageng's mausoleum, which is now a national key cultural relic protection unit. The tombstone is made of terrazzo granite and engraved with golden official script. The tomb is shaped like a long-lived turtle, and the tomb pool is shaped like a horseshoe. The top cover is made of thirteen terrazzo blue barrel stones. The left, right and back sides of the tomb are covered with bluestone shadow walls, and there are fifteen relief portraits of Chen Jiageng's important experiences in the first half of his life. The memorial pavilion in front of the tomb and the zhaobi behind the tomb are carved with bluestone, which is elegant and solemn. There are three kinds of stone carvings in Aoyuan: relief, shadow carving and tablet carving.
