Brief introduction of Sanhe ancient town in Anhui Province

Sanhe Ancient Town Scenic Area is located in Feixi County, Hefei City, on the shore of Chaohu Lake, adjacent to Lujiang County and Shucheng County. It is said that it crosses three counties in one step and crows in three counties. Sanhe Town has a history of more than 2,500 years, and is named after three rivers, namely Fengle River, Hangbu River and Xiaonan River.

Sanhe Ancient Town Scenic Area is characterized by the ancient water town, which has gathered rich cultural landscapes and formed a unique "eight ancient" landscape in Jianghuai area, namely, ancient rivers, ancient bridges, ancient markets, ancient streets, ancient houses, ancient teahouses, ancient temples and platforms, and ancient battlefields. The basic pattern of Sanhe ancient town is: two sides of the outer ring and three continents in the middle. The houses in the streets and lanes are relatively regular, with a central axis and distinct edges.
