Daxing District is a subordinate district of Beijing. It is located in the south of Beijing, and the new city is 13 kilometers north of the city center. It is the nearest suburb to Beijing. It is one of the first batch of key development satellite cities in the State Council in 1984. Yizhuang, a new city in Beijing, is the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. Daxing has a long history, about 24 years since the county was founded in the pre-Qin Dynasty.
