In the middle of the ship sat Fu Cha, the prince of Wu, and Beauty Stone. Picturesque scenery, accompanied by beautiful women, the king of Wu was overjoyed and said, "This place can be used for summer." Therefore, Nanwan was renamed Xiaxia Bay, which continues to this day. In the Tang Dynasty, Yue Ming Bay was well known, and famous poets such as Bai Juyi, Pi Rixiu, Lu Guimeng and Liu Changqing all came here, leaving poems praising Yue Ming Bay, such as "Where is the most secluded place, named Yue Ming Bay" written by Pi Rixiu.

The age of the ancient camphor tree at the entrance of the village has exceeded 1200 years, which bears witness to the history of the ancient village. According to legend, this ancient camphor tree was planted by Liu Changqing, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, when he visited friends. On both sides of the streets in the village, most of them are buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties, which are strewn at random, many-hued. There are four seasons of flowers and fruits in front of and behind the house, which are quiet and simple, just like the ancient villages in the traditional Jiangnan water town.

The 58-meter-long ancient pier extends obliquely into the lake, which was once the main channel for villagers to access the outside world. Two elms drilled from the cracks in the stones above the pier have become a unique landscape. Thousands of years later, the ancient pier still stands quietly by Taihu Lake, which is the place where online celebrities take photos and punch cards, and it is also the "romantic fairyland" for Lao Wu Wang and Shi to enjoy the moon. Sitting on the ancient pier, I feel the sun setting, the lake wind blowing on my face, and the romance of Taihu Lake is in my arms.
