Cosmetics and skin care department store
There are not as many department stores in Kyoto as in Tokyo, but the basic brands are still covered, and people are not as crowded as in downtown Tokyo. The discount is similar, so you can buy any counter products you want in Kyoto.
Takashimaya (Takashimaya)
Venue: East Haramachi intersection.
Features: Located at the intersection of Tiehara-machi, the most prosperous place in Kyoto, the geographical location is very convenient, and almost all Japanese brands can be bought here, such as Shiseido, IPSA, Deco and SK2. That's the department store I go to the most. With a tourist passport, you can get a 5% discount card for helloKitty at the reception desk, called Kitty Card, which can be used at all counters. The duty-free counter is on the first floor, next to Lou. It is easy to find.
Otaru
Location: near Sitiaowu Bay Station, about 15 minutes walk from Takashimaya.
Features: SUQQU's only counter in Kyoto is in Daimaru, so I want to buy SUQQU Daimaru. In addition, because the geographical location of Daimaru is more remote than that of Takashimaya, sometimes you can buy some products that are out of stock (but to be honest, the probability is not great, because manufacturers will also consider the geographical location when distributing goods, and the distribution volume of Daimaru is definitely less than that of Takashimaya). Besides SUQQU, there are other brands in the pills, such as PAULJOE and Takashimaya. There are not as many people as Takashimaya, so you can have a look.
Kyoto station underground shopping mall entrance
This is my favorite place to go, with everything. This place will appear in this shopping guide many times haha. In terms of skin care, Berta will have some niche beauty and skin care brands, including Orbis, Kiehl's, Fancl and so on.
Kyoto station underground shopping mall Thecube
This place is connected with Porta, and there are also some niche shops such as body care and skin care products, which can be visited.
Cosmetics, skin care products and drugstores
As its name implies, a drugstore is a store that sells medicines and cosmetics (nonsense), so if you want to buy some popular medicines and cheap brand products like canmake/kate/visee, you can go to a drugstore to buy them. At the same time, most drugstores will also have counters of big brands, selling some mid-to high-end products of this brand, or the counters also have products that are being sold but bought back at a discount in drugstores. For example, Shiseido's brand lines in drugstores include Iris, HAKU, Red Honey Dew (drugstores usually offer a 30% discount) and so on. I will mention the specific discount strength in the next branch.
The main brands of cosmeceuticals are Guo Da cosmeceuticals, (kokokarafine, I saw this cosmeceuticals shop on the first floor of a shopping mall in Xuhui, Shanghai.
Four perimeters:
12
Location: Walk about 100 meters to the north at the intersection of Xika Haramachi, and walk for 5 minutes to Takashimaya.
This store is the largest pharmacy in sifang district that I know so far. There are two floors, the price is moderate, the store is clean and tidy, and the categories are complete. The first floor is medicine and daily necessities, and the cosmetics and brand counters are mainly on the second floor. Replenishment of popular products is also timely. It is worth mentioning that Shiseido's Yue Wei series (not Yueweiruipu) and Red Honey Dew have the biggest discounts. Other brands such as Medtex and Sophia will also have activities from time to time.
In addition, some products sold in this store can't be bought in other places, such as some ethnic masks, some household essential oils, aromatherapy candles, many nail products, beauty contact lens products and so on.
Tips: The second floor checkout can also be tax-free. There are often long queues at the checkout counter on the first floor. Actually, you can check out on the second floor. If you buy a lot of things at the counter, you can ask for samples like a counter girl. They are all happy to give it to them.
(Taiyang Medicine) Xinjingguo Shopping Zone Branch
Location: Shop Street in Sixingong Business Circle, next to Dachuang.
There are two pharmacies of this brand in the shopping area of New Guo Jing. I prefer the one next to Dachuang. First, clean and tidy. Second, there are big creations, honey juice and the like.
The advantage of this shop is that it is cheap and the discount is not small. If tourists are tax-free, they can also use coupons for full reduction. If it is not a tourist visa, you can apply for a membership card directly. Weekend points can be cashed directly, which is equivalent to a 10% discount (I won't tell you that my points are enough for me to spend 20 18 if I only buy makeup). Besides, products like Kerun Cream are also the cheapest stores I know, so you can explore them yourself.
The disadvantage is that things are not so complete and will be out of stock, but popular products can basically be found.
OS cosmeceutical xinjingguo shopping qu branch
Location: Shops Street in Xinjinggu Business Circle, near the 4th Road Exit.
This is a small shop, which mainly sells products that are not very popular, or products that are not very popular on the Internet in China. If you want to find the products of online celebrities, this store is hard to find, but everything is very cheap. Our shop is not tax-free and does not apply for membership cards. We can only pay in cash. Because of the low price, I often go to this store to buy Minon's products, DHC's healthy food and some brands.
(KokoKarafine) Sitiao Wuwan Branch
Location: Go west from Takashimaya for about 10 minutes, at the intersection of Siyuan Town.
The sense of existence is very low, but it has SK2, 30% off.
Songqingxin jingji branch
Location: Shops Street, New Guo Jing Business Circle, near the exit of Kawahara-CHO, near Lamian Noodles, Yilan.
This Matsumoto Ito is a place with a wide variety of goods and is very popular with tourists. However, according to my observation, things are more expensive. Although there are many coupons, discount coupons and coupons distributed on their official WeChat account, they are all based on slightly higher prices, so the Japanese themselves don't like to go to this store. If you have more coupons, you can go shopping. Everything popular can basically be found here. For example, recently, other stores have run out of muscle essence 3D mask, only Matsumoto Yitengyou. It seems that Ito Matsumoto has the priority to get the goods (I guess casually), because this 10 pack of 3D mask has only been sold in Ito Matsumoto.
PS:SK2 seems to have a 30% discount.
As far as I know, only the above two stores have SK2 and 30% discount. )
Pharmacy Heyuan ding branch
Location: Kawahara-machi intersection, next to O 1O 1 Department Store.
Maybe a big country is famous for its low price. And China has the largest number of employees, so don't worry about language problems. In addition to beauty products, there are some small things that can be brought back to China as small gifts, which are more suitable for tourists to visit.
LOFT cosmeceutical qu
LOFT is a shopping center with several floors, which will be mentioned many times in this guide. The brands of cosmetics and skin care products sold here are well-known, and of course there are some minority brands. If you want to buy HABA or something, you can go here and buy some products that are not easy to buy in pharmacies.
Around Kyoto Station:
Tankede
Venue: Love of Two Generations in Batiaokou, Kyoto Station
This is a magical place. It stays open until late, which will be mentioned many times in this guide. Not only cosmetics and skin care products, but also home appliance gifts, which will be mentioned later. Don Quixote has many kinds of makeup, and some brands are not available elsewhere. But the merchandise display is messy and needs to be carefully looked at. In addition, many popular products that can be converted into RMB for only a few dollars will be put in transparent plastic barrels (? ), like selling cabbage. But there are not many skin care products, so it is not recommended to buy them here.
Household appliances and beauty instruments
Are you Ba Du Xi?
Venue: Before Kyoto Station, get off at Kyoto Tower.
Mainly selling home appliances, which will be mentioned in the home appliances article. The makeup skin care area is similar to Don Quixote's style, but cleaner and brighter than Don Quixote's. Beauty instruments and home appliances can be compared.
You baxi
Venue: Before Kyoto Station, get off at Kyoto Tower.
Kyoto's most famous department store selling household appliances has a complete set of things, especially beauty instruments, gold bars, refa, noodle steamer and large rows of lamps. There are many kinds of electric beauty gadgets, such as dozens and hundreds in perming eyelashes. In addition, computers, mobile phones (there is an Apple store on the first floor) and cameras are also on sale.
BIC camera
Location: Next to Kyoto Station
Compared with Youdu Baxi, this beauty instrument is not so complete (but there are many), but relatively speaking, there are many kinds of small household appliances and the price is very suitable. I moved twice in Japan, and bought home appliances in BIC's camera shop every time. So if you want to buy small appliances, I recommend this one.
Tankede
Venue: Love of Two Generations in Batiaokou, Kyoto Station
Cheap and miscellaneous, you can find a lot of cheap things (I once found a 30-yuan perm eyelash), and occasionally I go here to bring a razor to my friends or something.
A ps that only big friends can see: Don Quixote has an adult products area. Behind the checkout counter next to the elevator, there is a small area separated by curtains, which says that people under 18 are not allowed to enter.
continuing education
Location: Near Tieyuan Town.
This is the only shopping mall in sifang district that sells home appliances. It's not as complete as the one above, but if you can't get to Kyoto station, you can go and see this one. Its Chinese name is Aidian.
Stationery
As a person who loves to buy stationery, I have never got rid of the problem of not using stationery since I was a child, and it is even more out of control in Japan. Some cultural and creative products in Japan are really easy to use, and some creative stationery is particularly worth buying, so if you and I also have the problem of "buying stationery everywhere", please read on:
loft
Venue: Mitsuo, Kawahara-machi
There is a special floor in the attic to sell stationery, including notebooks, pens and gadgets. , and manual ledger tape and so on. I dare not go shopping casually, because it costs money every time I go shopping. Anyway, I strongly suggest you go to the attic. Uniqlo and Gu are also in LOFT. Even if you don't buy stationery specially, you can visit the stationery area by the way, because I think the overall quality of stationery in Japan is still good.
Tokyu hand
Location: Near Sitiao Wuwan Station
Like LOFT, this store is also an all-day department store chain, but the stationery products are a little less than LOFT. As a supplementary option, you can go for a walk.
Muji
Venue: Floor BAL5, opposite the attic in Guangyuan Town.
There are only two Muji shops in Kyoto (if I remember correctly). One store is under the Kyoto station Porta, and there are not many things. The other is this flagship store. Many things, clothes, household items, stationery, snacks, cosmetics. I like to buy all kinds of books of Muji, especially ancient paper's manuscripts and annual accounts. I like them all, because they are simple, clean and not fancy.
Go to any university supermarket.
No kidding, I'm serious. The stationery sold in university supermarkets is always the most practical and comprehensive (this should be used all over the world), and the price is not expensive. So if you really want to buy stationery, you can search the nearby universities on the map and look at the supermarkets in the universities. Maybe there will be a surprise. You can also experience the campus atmosphere in Japan. Some universities also sell their own peripheral products (this is the same as in China), such as notebooks with school badges, postcards, clothes with school badges and so on. For example, our school sells cakes with school badges, and the headmaster's curry (the curry produced by our school itself and endorsed by the headmaster). Emmmm is quite memorable to me personally.
Clothing supplies
Search on the map can find some fast-moving or luxury clothing brands in Europe and America, so I only recommend the shops or clothing shopping areas in Kyoto that I often go to, which are Japanese-style and moderately priced.
In fact, if you don't reserve much time in Kyoto, you can go to Shinsaibashi in Osaka. )
Cubic Gate under Kyoto Station
Venue: Ground Floor, Kyoto Station
Make-up has said that these two places are interlinked, so they are put together here. This area is a good place to visit. There are many clothing stores, all with Japanese characteristics. There are some younger brands, and some brands with slightly higher prices and elegant styles, which are suitable for women aged 40. Shops that take the younger route are usually moderately priced. The average price of a dress in winter is about 300-600 yuan RMB, and the basic price is about 200 yuan. In fact, it is similar to the pricing of some FMCG brands.
Recommended store: URBANRESEARCH's sense of place, MAJESTICLEGON.
Guam (Guam)
Venue: Two Generations of Love, Kyoto Station, upstairs of Tangjikede.
Venue: 5th floor, Sanjo Loft5, Kawahara-CHO (upstairs and downstairs of Uniqlo, convenient for visiting)
Uniqlo's FMCG clothing brand is cheaper than Uniqlo's, with more fashionable styles and faster updates. Basically, you can see the Japanese trend elements in every season in everything you buy. There are also shoes, bags, ornaments and other things for sale. Like Uniqlo, there are occasional cooperative funds, so it is very popular with young people. At present, it seems that this brand only has stores in Shanghai in China, but a treasure has a flagship store. However, personally, I feel that the money sold by domestic platforms is not as full as that sold in Japan, and the update is not so fast.
Xinjinggu shopping area pedestrian street
Location: 4
In addition to some Japanese brand chain stores, there are also some independent designer shops, antique shops and so on. Because this is also a place where drugstores gather, you can look at clothes while visiting drugstores.
Anime peripheral articles
Frankly speaking, I don't know much about animation, but some friends around me are interested in it, so I know about several stores. If there are any omissions, please add them. But when it comes to buying the surrounding areas of Japan, it must be Akihabara in Tokyo, so if there is a trip to Tokyo, this article can be completely skipped.
live
Location: Stores in four new shopping areas in Beijing.
Venue: Two Generations of Yakutia, Kyoto Station
This is a famous chain store in Japan. Its Chinese name is Amrit. There are official online stores in China, and some cities have counters. Mainly selling comics, games and hand-made products, as well as various other peripheral goods and magazines. Compared with the four stores in the new Beijing business district, it is bigger and more complete.
Volkswagen head office
Venue: Qitiao, Xiye Temple
Volks is a large model chain in Japan, and this one in Kyoto is the headquarters. Some models will be displayed in the lobby, mainly railway models, and occasionally there will be exhibitions on other themes. There are many kinds of models on sale, some of which have won prizes, and occasionally you can see out-of-print models, so the visit value is also very high.
General model shop
Location: North of Siziwang Temple 100 meters.
I know this shop because I pass it every time I have a class. Although I haven't been inside, it looks like a shop from the outside, with a lot of things. Because the signboard is a bit broken, it has the style of an old Japanese independent store. The glass cabinets on display are full of railway models, airplane models and handmade models, so if you live near here (there are many homestays near Zhigeng Temple), you can go in and have a look.
Suggestions on tourism in Kyoto
1. The bus has a one-day ticket of 500 yen (about 30 yuan RMB), so you can sit anywhere in the city.
2. Kyoto people are not as flamboyant as Tokyo people, and their clothes are monotonous (at least I think so), so if you don't want to stand out from the crowd, you can wear simple and monochromatic clothes.
Because it is an ancient capital, many houses in small streets are traditional wooden structures, which are not sound-proof and earthquake-resistant. So if your homestay is made of wood, please be prepared to be awakened by the traffic on the road.
4. If you can understand Kansai dialect, it will be smoother to travel in Kyoto, but on the other hand, even if you can't speak Japanese, it's not a big problem to visit Kyoto (even the whole of Japan), because large department stores and drugstores will have Chinese translators.
Kyoto cuisine is called "Beijing cuisine". You can search on the map and try a restaurant with good reviews (I haven't eaten it).
6. As an ancient capital with a long history, the most beautiful place in Kyoto is not in the gathering business district, nor in the popular scenic spots, such as. Therefore, if there is enough time, it is strongly recommended to get on the bus or take the tram and get off at any station far from the city center. Take a stroll in the alleys of Kyoto, and you will find it has a unique style (of course, be careful not to get lost).
7. Not only in Kyoto, but also in Japan, there is no hot water to drink outside the home, because there is no habit of drinking hot water. Although hot drinks are sold in vending machines in winter, they are all coffee drinks, without hot mineral water or boiled water. Therefore, it is suggested that girls who are used to drinking hot water and mothers with babies must bring enough hot water before going out (a sincere suggestion from a girl who can't drink hot water at school).
