Tourism in Haiti

Labadee

Labadee is located in the eastern part of the Caribbean island country of Haiti. It is chartered by Caribbean Cruise Lines exclusively for the entertainment of cruise tourists. The 220,000-ton cruise ship Oasis of the Seas can be reached after a two-night and one-day sea journey from Miami. Due to the charter of the cruise company, local black people are not allowed to go to the island except service personnel, and only cruise tourists go there. The natural environment of the island is well protected, with blue sky, blue sea, green mountains, and it feels like a fairyland on earth when you get there. Jacmel

Jacmel (French: Jacmel) is located on the Caribbean coast of southern Haiti and is the capital of the Southeast Department. It covers an area of ??approximately 27,800 square kilometers and has a population of 8 million. Jacmel is undoubtedly the most unique town in Haiti. It attracts couples to wander here. There are narrow alleys and iron markets with red tile roofs, colorful stone houses and wooden houses that retain all the colonial charm; there are also female traders and people wandering around with mules. Women sorting dried coffee beans on the grounds. Previously, Jacmel was isolated from the country due to high mountains blocking the way. Although a road was eventually built, Jacmel is still a remote area on the southern peninsula.
