Do I need a semi-visa to return home from Canada and transit through South Korea?
Canadian citizens or permanent residents who only transit through Korea and stay in Korea for no more than 24 hours do not need to apply for a Korean visa. However, if you need to stay for more than 24 hours or leave the airport transit area, you need to apply for a Korean visa.
If you have a Canadian student visa, you can apply for a multiple-entry tourist visa to South Korea.
