On July 7th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China issued the Notice on Incorporating the Special Train Service into the Unified Management of the Inter-provincial Tourism "Fuse" Mechanism (hereinafter referred to as the Notice), pointing out that travel agencies and online travel enterprises will resume the special train service from now on in combination with the current epidemic prevention and control situation and the development of the tourism market.

The Notice clearly stipulates that in accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Strengthening the Prevention and Control of Epidemic Situation and Implementing the Inter-provincial Tourism "Fuse" Mechanism (Lv Wen Power Generation [2022]113), the tourism special train business will be brought into the unified management of the inter-provincial tourism "fuse" mechanism. All localities should strictly implement the "COVID-19 Travel Agency Epidemic Prevention and Control Guide (Fourth Edition)", compact the main responsibility of enterprises, and do a good job in epidemic prevention and control of tourist trains.

In June 5438+10 last year, affected by sporadic and repeated epidemics in many places in China, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China issued an urgent notice, demanding strict implementation of the "fuse" mechanism for the management of inter-provincial tourism business activities and suspending the operation of special tourist trains. Since the beginning of this year, many places have resumed cross-provincial tourism, while still maintaining the suspension of tourist trains.

Zhou, deputy general manager of Spring and Autumn Tourism, said in an interview that special tourist trains in specific seasons, such as July and August, are more suitable and important seasons, and special tourist trains on routes such as Northwest China and Guichuan are more popular tourism products. This time, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has brought the special tour service into the unified management of the "fuse" mechanism for inter-provincial travel, and resumed this service from now on, opening it in an orderly manner to areas where there is no epidemic or the epidemic is relatively controllable, and also encouraging further development of tourism under the situation that the epidemic is controllable, which is more important for the recovery of tourism.

On July 6th, news from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region showed that on June 28th and 29th, Xinjiang opened two special tourist trains for north and south Xinjiang, and in July, several special tourist trains for north and south Xinjiang and two "New Oriental Express" tourist trains will be opened. In addition, the upgraded "Silk Road Tianshan Mountain" high-quality tourist train will also be launched on July 18. This year, Xinjiang Railway plans to open a special tourist train 102, which is 1.7 times that of last year.
