Shichuan has a long history. In the eighth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1495), the governor of Gansu built the "Shizichuan Castle" in the center of Shichuan, hence the name, and it was also one of the birthplaces of the early Yellow River culture. Sichuan is located 20 kilometers northeast of Lanzhou. The Yellow River flows eastward out of the small canyon, then suddenly northward, flows through Ishikawa in the shape of a rainbow, and then bends eastward into the Grand Canyon, forming a Ishikawa basin shaped like Taiji. It covers an area of 405 square kilometers, with flat terrain, mountains and waters and pleasant climate. Known as "Little Jiangnan".

Fishing platform: On the bank of the Yellow River at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in Shichuan, there is a 500-mu fish pond, which has been identified as a fishing base by Gansu Fishing Association.

Liyuan: Ishikawa Town is known as the "first ancient pear garden in the world".
