Due to the above disastrous weather, agricultural production suffers losses to varying degrees almost every year, and its ability to resist natural disasters is still shallow, so disastrous weather is still one of the main factors hindering the development of agricultural production. Zhangjiakou is a famous industrial city in the northwest of Beijing in history. Coal, steel, machinery, textiles, building materials, chemicals and other industries have a solid foundation and strong strength. Although these industries have declined and developed slowly in different degrees after the reform and opening up, they still have great potential in resources, technology and industrial workers. The municipal party committee and the municipal government put forward the strategy of "building a city through industry", aiming at remolding the image of an industrial city, and combining with the reality adjacent to Beijing, striving to build Zhangjiakou into a base for industrial transfer and technological transformation in Beijing.
