What should the turbocharged engine pay attention to in hot weather in summer?

This question is answered from two aspects:

1. Structurally, the turbocharger mainly relies on the oil in the lubrication system to provide heat dissipation, lubrication of bearings and oil film support for rotors. Because the turbocharger itself runs at the speed of 10000-20000 rpm, it generates a lot of heat and is insensitive to the external atmospheric temperature. However, if the heat dissipation of the engine oil is not good and the heat of the turbine intermediate cannot be taken away in time, it will easily lead to overheating of the bearings and rotors of the turbine. The heat dissipation capacity of engine oil is related to the quality of engine oil itself and the running condition of engine cooling system, which is consistent with the relevant requirements of naturally aspirated engine, but the parameters may be different. If the engine has a heat dissipation problem, the high temperature in summer is likely to aggravate the problem and eventually lead to overheating of turbine components;

2. As far as the working effect of the turbine is concerned, the turbine itself is driven by waste gas, which drives the compressor to compress fresh air and improve the pressure and density of intake air. When the temperature rises in summer, the compression effect is not as good as normal temperature in theory, but it is not so obvious in practice, because the design and manufacture have fully considered the normal use under various extreme natural conditions, so there is no need to worry about this.
