Goose insulation. In CCTV7, I saw the goose insulation in Ejiazhuang, Changyuan County, Henan Province. Who knows how to do it?

There are two kinds of insulation for goslings: self-heating and artificial heating. Self-temperature brooding mainly depends on the heat of goslings, which keeps the temperature in a small range and improves the living environment temperature of goslings. The advantage of this method is that the equipment is simple and economical, and it is suitable for small groups and places with warmer climate to raise chicks. The advantages of artificial temperature brooding are good brooding effect and high labor productivity, and it is suitable for brooding in large groups and places with cold weather. Common forms of insulation are as follows.

(1) The electric umbrella is made of aluminum alloy, wood blocks and fiberboard, with electric heating wires as the heat source and connected with an automatic temperature control device. Using electric brooding umbrella for heating is labor-saving, convenient for management, good in air, clean and pollution-free, and good in brooding effect. Disadvantages are high power consumption, limited use in places without electricity or frequent power outages, and no waste heat to raise the room temperature. Therefore, when used in winter, the furnace is also needed for auxiliary heat preservation.

(2) The commonly used infrared bulbs for thermal insulation in infrared lamps are 250 watts, which can be arranged at equal intervals or in groups of 3-4. At first, the light bulb was 35 ~ 45 cm from the ground, and later, with the growth of goslings' age, the height of the light bulb gradually increased. When the outside temperature is low, there should be heating equipment indoors in the first week, and the newborn chicks should be surrounded in the range of 1.2 ~ 1.5 meters under the lamp. This method is suitable for use in places where there is no power failure.

(3) Insulation of underground flue or fire pit. When heated, the temperature is stable, the ground is dry, the gosling abdomen is warm, the brooding effect is good, the structure is simple, the cost is low, and the fuel can be obtained locally, such as coal, leaves, firewood, charcoal and the like.

(4) Laying pipes in the gas heat source insulation room, setting exhaust holes outdoors, and using the gas heat source to raise the room temperature. This form is suitable for places without power supply.

(5) The coal stove is used as a heat source to heat the brooding room, so as to keep the suitable living environment for goslings in the brooding room. Pay attention to indoor ventilation when heating with coal stove, and often open doors and windows, otherwise it will easily cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

Each production site should choose one or more according to the actual situation.
