Dezhou, Jinan, Binzhou, Dongying, Liaocheng, Zibo, Weifang and Zaozhuang in the northwest of Shandong Province will be affected and there will be severe polluted weather. Some cities in Shanxi and northern Shaanxi have also been affected by sandstorms. Datong in northern Shanxi, Yan 'an and Yulin in northern Shaanxi will all be affected.

The formation of sandstorm weather is mainly caused by vegetation on the surface and dry climate. Sandstorms in Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Northwest China are common disastrous weather.
