The latest autumn progress map. Where is autumn?

Since the beginning of the annual equinox solar term, the frontier of China in autumn has crossed the Huaihe River and reached central Anhui, central Jiangsu and central Hubei. However, this year's autumn process is relatively late. Until the eve of the autumnal equinox, the footsteps of autumn are still wandering in North China, and southern Hebei and other places have not yet entered autumn.

Compared with normal years, some areas in Beijing and Hebei entered autumn later this year, and some areas in central and eastern Henan, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, Hubei, Shandong and other places have already entered autumn later.

The national autumn progress map released by China Weather Network shows that as of September 22nd, China's autumn territory covers most of the northwest, Inner Mongolia, Northeast China, North China and Southwest China, among which the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Northeast Inner Mongolia and Northwest Heilongjiang have even entered winter.

In big cities, Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Hohhot, Urumqi, Lanzhou, Yinchuan, Taiyuan, Xi 'an and other places have entered autumn.

There is a lot of rain in North China and other places in the autumn equinox this year, and the "autumn tiger" in South China continues to flourish.

The annual autumnal equinox season is not only an important period of seasonal change, but also a time when cold air tends to be frequent. From the high-impact weather map of the autumnal equinox solar terms launched by China Weather Network, it can be found that during the autumnal equinox, the weather in most parts of central and eastern China began to turn cold, the frost in the northeast began to appear, the autumn rain in West China continued, and the heat in South China remained the same, so we should be alert to the influence of autumn typhoon.

Different from the crisp autumn in previous years, this year's autumn equinox solar terms, North China, Huanghuai and other places are obviously rainy. It is predicted that there will be a strong precipitation process from west to east in the eastern part of northwest China, Sichuan Basin, south-central North China and Huanghuai from September 23rd to 26th.

From 27th to 29th, there will be another rainfall process in Sichuan Basin, southeastern part of Northwest China, southern part of North China, Huanghuai, Jianghan and other places. The two precipitation processes are superimposed, and the precipitation in the eastern part of northwest China, south-central North China, Huanghuai and Sichuan Basin is 50% to 1 times more than normal, and the local precipitation is more than 2 times.

In addition, it is worth noting that this year's autumn equinox solar terms, south-central Jiangnan, most of southern China need to be alert to the "autumn tiger." Especially on the eve of the National Day, under the control of strong subtropical high, there will be persistent high temperature and hot weather in parts of Jiangnan and South China, which is rare in the same period of the year (late September).
