Is there little shrimp activity in cold weather?

The weather is cold, and shrimp activities are less.

The temperature is low in winter, crayfish don't like to move into cages, and the temperature drops day by day in winter. Due to the influence of low water temperature, the physiological activities of crayfish are weakened and tend to be in a state of not eating or moving. The ground cage is immobile in one place. If crayfish don't exercise, there will be no shrimp in the cage, and if they can't catch it, there will be no shrimp to sell.

Crayfish can't be caught in the hole for the winter. In order to breed and resist the low temperature in winter, crayfish choose to dig holes to hide. If you can't catch crayfish in the hole, you can't take crayfish.

Crayfish culture in rice fields in low temperature weather in winter

After entering1February, the temperature dropped to about 10℃, and the temperature in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River was a few degrees below zero. At this time, adult crayfish basically entered hibernation.

Most shrimps spend the winter by digging holes to hide, and a small number of adult shrimps without digging holes lurk in deep water. At this stage, the adult shrimps are basically unable to eat or drink. /kloc-The shrimps of 0/2 months did not hibernate, but still ate and molted, and were active around the aquatic plants.

1, planting aquatic plants in rice fields

/kloc-the temperature gradually decreases in October and February, which is suitable for planting Elodea, a favorite winter aquatic plant of crayfish. At this time, the crayfish is in an inactive period, and the aquatic plants are not easy to be cut off by crayfish, so it is relatively easy to survive. Freshly hatched shrimps also need aquatic plants as hidden objects to prevent them from being eaten by similar and harmful organisms.

Planting aquatic plants in winter can form an underwater forest in early spring next year, which is conducive to increasing crayfish production. The recommended row spacing for planting aquatic plants is 3m× 5m. After planting, compound fertilizer can be sprinkled around aquatic plants to promote rooting.

2. Use various fertilizer products for water supply and fertilization.

It is difficult to water and fertilize in winter, but it is by no means impossible. In winter, because of the low temperature, the rate of microbial decomposition of organic matter is greatly slowed down, and the growth of algae is also inhibited because of the low temperature. At low temperature, if there is more fertilizer, water may not be fertilizer. On the contrary, there are many examples of water quality deterioration in summer caused by excessive fertilization in winter.

In winter, we should pay attention to the use of various fertilizers. We should use the fertilizer products on the market (such as amino acid fertilizer and water emulsion)+fermented chicken manure+compound fertilizer+Bacillus, and flexibly allocate the proportion according to the fat and thin water quality in Tangkou.

If the fertility remains unchanged, there must be enough algae species to effectively supply water and fertilize. The most convenient source of algae species is river water. There are abundant algae in the river water in nature, so pumping the river water into the shrimp paddy field regularly can effectively replenish the algae species.

3. Maintain a stable water level

The temperature is low in winter, and the most important thing is to keep the water level. If the water level changes frequently, there will be water rising in the hole of crayfish, which will bring drastic changes in the temperature and dissolved oxygen of crayfish, and make crayfish wake up from hibernation and come out of the hole. In the cold winter, many of these crayfish out of the hole have no physical strength to dig holes again, and it is easy to freeze to death or forcibly dig holes to exhaustion.

The suitable water level is about 50cm deep in paddy field. When the water level drops by about 10cm, water should be added in time to keep the water depth stable. This water depth has a good thermal insulation effect. Shrimp seedlings and adults without holes are safer in cold winter. The water depth of 50 cm is beneficial to inhibit the growth of moss.

Step 4 feed the bait correctly

1February, sometimes there will be high temperatures of about 15 and 16 degrees. These short-term temperature rises will increase the appetite of adult shrimp and young shrimp that have not entered the hole, and let them come out to find food to satisfy their hunger. At this time, a small amount of bait can be properly fed to satisfy these crayfish. The protein of the bait you choose to feed must be higher. The amount of minced fish, soybean milk, minced compound feed, fish meal, etc. It can be less, and it should be thrown as evenly as possible, and more areas with more shrimp seedlings should be thrown.

Doing so can make shrimp seedlings slightly larger in spring and have a high survival rate in winter; In spring, the belly of adult shrimp is full and fleshy, and the survival rate of adult shrimp in winter is also improved.

Step 5 kill moss

Moss grows quickly in December. If the growth of moss is not controlled, it is easy to cause moss flooding in spring. To control the growth of moss in1February, you can choose to raise the water level. When the water level is 50cm deep, there is less light transmission and it has an inhibitory effect on moss. You can also splash it with sodium humate. When the whole pool turns to soy sauce color, use fertilizer products such as fertilizer paste within one week. Pay attention to supplementing phosphate fertilizer and exogenous algae species to quickly fertilize water and squeeze the living space of moss.
