Introduction of Fengyun-3 meteorological satellite
Fengyun-3 meteorological satellite is the second generation polar-orbiting meteorological satellite built to meet the urgent needs of weather forecast, climate forecast and environmental monitoring in China. It consists of three satellites (Fengyun 3A satellite, Fengyun 3B satellite and Fengyun 3C satellite). Fengyun-3 was 1994 included in the ninth five-year plan of space technology, and Fengyun-3 meteorological satellite was 65438 in 2000. The goal of FY-3 meteorological satellite is to obtain three-dimensional, global, all-weather, quantitative and high-precision data of the earth's atmospheric environment. At about 1 1 Beijing time on September 23rd, 2003, China successfully launched the third Fengyun-3 meteorological satellite.
