What happened to the weather this year?

The Three Gorges Project did bring some negative environmental impacts. It has little to do with the Wenchuan earthquake. Wenchuan was originally located in the earthquake zone. If a low-level earthquake occurs around the Three Gorges, it may be caused by a large reservoir. This year's abnormal climate is definitely not the cause of the Three Gorges.

There are many reasons for the abnormal climate. For example, the year of La Nina phenomenon will lead to hotter summers and colder winters in China. Now this is still difficult to explain. Sometimes the influence of subtropical high is too strong, and it may extend to land.
