Why is it so hot?

Expert Interpretation: Why is the weather so hot? Can refer to it

Moderator: Today, our studio invited Li Weijing, director of the National Climate Center. Welcome to visit. How hot is the whole country except what I just saw in the whole film? Who suffers together?

Li Weijing: We can take a look at the current high temperature in China. This picture shows the high temperature in the whole country from June 1 to yesterday. We can look at orange, which is a high temperature above 35 degrees, and it is a continuous high temperature. This is a high temperature of 40 degrees. We can see that Shijiazhuang and Baoding, including Xi 'an in Shaanxi, all have high temperatures of more than 40 degrees. We can take a look at the picture below, which is the distribution of its high temperature days. We can see the red area, which is probably more than 15 to 20 days. Therefore, it can be seen that the current high temperature situation in the country is still relatively strong.

Moderator: Almost many of us, including me, are paying attention to this issue. Why is it so hot this year?

Li Weijing: Very interesting. We remember that in June, the main rainfall area was in South China, while the north was a relatively dry, hot and dry period. However, at the end of June, the high pressure belt in the western Pacific suddenly tilted northward. At present, rainfall is mainly in the eastern part of northwest China and Huanghuai area. Some time ago, there was little rain, such as little rain in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, high temperature and drought.

Moderator: It rained a few years ago, and now it rains in the south, and it stays for a long time. Suddenly, it went to the north and brought people out. How long will this last?

Li Weijing: Now we think it should be the next ten days. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and most parts of the south of the Yangtze River, including the southwest, such as Chongqing and Sichuan, will be hot and rainy.

Compere: Why are people in the north, especially in North China, including Jinan, Shijiazhuang, Beijing, Tianjin and other places getting hotter every year, and not losing to the south?

Li Weijing: There is a very strong high temperature in the north. I think there are two main reasons for the high temperature. First, the world has changed now. Against this background, especially since the 1990s, we feel hotter every year. Since the historical record, 1998 is the hottest, and it is the hottest in recent years after 2 1 century.
