If the temperature exceeds 35℃ for a long time, mosquitoes will be too much to eat, and they will hide in grass, shade, stairs, civil air defense projects and other places to escape the heat. In addition, too high temperature will lead to less water on the road, and mosquitoes will lack a "hotbed" for spawning.

High temperature above 2.40℃ is quite fatal to mosquitoes.

Several developmental stages of mosquitoes from eggs to larvae to pupae are in the water. They are particularly sensitive to water temperature. It was found that the water temperature 15 ~ 26℃ was the fastest time for mosquitoes to reproduce and develop, which was the favorite temperature for mosquitoes.

When the water body exceeds 35℃, mosquito eggs, larvae and pupae will stop developing and even die in large numbers. When the temperature is above 40℃, the water in outdoor ponds and depressions is constantly evaporating. After exposure, the water temperature is so high that mosquitoes can't lay eggs at all. The survival time of biting female mosquitoes is usually only 28 ~ 35 days. So if it is hot for ten and a half months, mosquitoes will be greatly reduced.

Mosquito is a cold-blooded animal, so its metabolic process, life history, longevity and reproductive nutrition cycle are all controlled by environmental temperature. They can't control their own temperature, but at low temperature, they can slow down the metabolic process and survive.
