Located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, Qingcheng Mountain is one of the famous Taoist mountains in China and one of the four famous Taoist mountains in China. Qingcheng Mountain is one of the birthplaces of Taoism in Shi Tian, known as the "fairy city" and the "fifth cave" among the top ten caves of Taoism. The ancient buildings, ancient sites, religious activities, historical legends and dietary customs of Qingcheng Mountain are all permeated with Taoist culture and are known as the living "Taoist Museum".

Qingcheng Mountain is famous for its tranquility. Among them, Shi Tian Cave and Ancestral Temple are the national key Taoist temples. Taoism in Qingcheng Mountain in Ming Dynasty comes down in one continuous line, and tends to decline at the end of Ming Dynasty. Chen Qingjue, a Taoist priest of Quanzhen Dragon Sect in Wudang Mountain, came to Qingcheng Mountain to preach, and Quanzhen Dragon Sect has since developed in this mountain.
