Daxinganling is in the northeast of China.

Daxinganling Mountains, as the western part of Xing 'an Mountains, are located in the northwest of Heilongjiang Province and the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. They are the watershed between the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the Songliao Plain, connecting Taihang Mountain and Xuefeng Mountain, and closely connecting Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning.
