What's the difference between Yuncheng and Hanzhong?

The climate difference between Yuncheng and Hanzhong is mainly reflected in the annual precipitation. The annual precipitation in Hanzhong is obviously more than that in Yuncheng, but the average annual temperature difference between the two places is not big.

Hanzhong belongs to the subtropical climate zone, with Qinling barrier in the north, which is not easy to be attacked by cold current and has a mild and humid climate. The water vapor between north and south is unequal, and the distribution of precipitation is very different. The average precipitation for many years is between 700 ~ 1700 mm, of which Micang Mountain in the south is the most abundant and the highest in Shaanxi. The geographical distribution of temperature in this area is mainly controlled by topography. The annual average temperature is 65438 04℃. The west is slightly lower than the east, and the north and south mountainous areas are lower than the flat dams and hills.

Yuncheng is influenced by monsoon activities all the year round and belongs to the continental monsoon climate of warm temperate zone. Winter is controlled by Siberian dry and cold airflow, northwest monsoon prevails, and the climate is cold and dry; Summer is controlled by the warm and humid air flow in the Pacific Ocean, and the southeast monsoon prevails. The climate is characterized by high temperature and rainy weather. The annual average precipitation (1956 ~ 2005) is 525mm, and the rainfall varies greatly from year to year. Annual average temperature 13.3℃, monthly average temperature -2.2℃, and July average temperature of 27.4℃.

Therefore, Yuncheng and Hanzhong are both in the monsoon region, but because Hanzhong is south of the Huaihe River line in Qinling Mountains, Hanzhong belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate and Yuncheng belongs to the temperate monsoon climate. In terms of precipitation, Hanzhong is significantly higher than Yuncheng. In terms of temperature, because Hanzhong is higher than Yuncheng, the two places are similar. To sum up, the main difference between the two climates is the precipitation.
