Fortunately, what I want to climb is not the whole journey of the Great Wall, but the Badaling part of the Great Wall. But I am a little chilling when I look at it. But when I think about it, I must be a hero and I can't lose to foreigners. A force from nowhere has been dominating me. Looking at the stone steps paved with slate at the foot, we can see the hardships of the ancient working people in building the Great Wall. In ancient times, the Great Wall was only used to protect the city, but now it has been regarded as a tourist attraction in China.

When it comes to the legend of the Great Wall, people in China will think of the legend that "Meng Jiangnu cries the Great Wall". Legend has it that Meng Jiangnv just married her beloved. At that time, Qin Shihuang recruited men to build the Great Wall, and Meng Jiangnv's "xianggong" was also recruited by the court. After a long time, Meng Jiangnv didn't see her "xianggong" and went to the place where the Great Wall was built to find her own. But after looking for her for a long time, I didn't see her, so I asked the supervisor. Meng Jiangnu didn't believe it, so she ran to the foot of the Great Wall and cried, hoping her husband could hear her. But with a tear, the Great Wall 800 meters away collapsed with a bang, and the bodies of her husband and the expropriated person were buried under the Great Wall. Although this is only a legend, it clearly reflects how much financial and human resources were wasted in building the Great Wall in ancient times.

Today, the Great Wall has been listed as one of the ten wonders of the world. As a famous tourist attraction symbolizing China, there is an endless stream of Chinese and foreign tourists. However, it is inevitable that some people in China do not cherish the quintessence of Chinese culture and carve words like "XXX will visit again next time" on the stone steps, leaving a stain on this great miracle.
