The weather in small towns in Switzerland
In summer, the scenery here is beautiful and spectacular, with grasslands, rivers, canyons, forests and caves. In the 1940s, an American missionary lived here for more than ten years. After returning home, he wrote a book, which described this pure land on earth for the world and attracted many westerners to look for "Little Switzerland in the East" and "Micro Shangri-La" in the book. Therefore, when few tourists in China know about this place, it is already famous in the western world.
This small town, langmusi, is located at the junction of ruoergai county, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province and luqu, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province. Bailong River runs through the town, and the two provinces are bounded by rivers. Jiangnan belongs to Sichuan and Jiangbei belongs to Gansu. The terrain here is called "golden basin fish farming", surrounded by mountains and valleys, with rivers in the middle. The town is located in a narrow valley surrounded by high mountains and canyons.
There are generally two routes to langmusi, one is from Chengdu to langmusi via western Sichuan, and the other is from Lanzhou to langmusi via Gannan. No matter which route, the scenery along the way is very spectacular and beautiful. From the mountain pass at an altitude of 4000 meters all the way down to Langmusi Town at an altitude of 3600 meters, the entrance is a long street with shops, restaurants and hotels on both sides. Passers-by wear Tibetan robes, white hats and red robes.
At the end of the street, you can go left to the Geldi Temple in Sichuan, and then continue to the Saichi Temple in Gansu, with a small bridge in the middle. Standing on the bridge, you can step on two provinces. On the left, you can see two dome buildings, which are mosques of the Hui people and belong to the latecomers of langmusi.
The section from Zoige to Gannan used to be the ancient tea-horse road. During the Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty, many Hui businessmen from Gansu and Ningxia went to langmusi to do business, settled here and gradually formed villages. 1943 built a mosque.
Geerdi Temple and Saichi Temple belong to Tibetan Buddhist temples, also known as langmusi, which was founded by the living Buddha of Ge Sang, Shen Jia on 1748. There are Faculty of Literature, Time Wheel College, Continuous College, Quiet College, Medical College, etc. In its heyday, there were more than 500 people and it was one of the famous monasteries in Amdo.
Langmusi in Gansu Province was built halfway up the mountain. Standing on the steps, it overlooks the whole town. After climbing all the way from the temple, you can reach langmusi Celestial Burial Terrace. There is no fence here. It's easier. If there were no flags fluttering in the wind, axes and broken bones scattered on the ground, many people would think it was just an ordinary hillside (PS: celestial burial platform is open to the public, but visitors here must abide by local customs).
On the left of langmusi, there is an open grassland. In summer, wild flowers are in full bloom, cattle and sheep flock, white yurts are scattered on the green grass, and occasionally herders ride by. Streams crisscross the grassland, and occasionally a small pond appears, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. It is said that you can walk up the river to the source of Bailong River.
Langmusi in Sichuan is located at the entrance of the canyon. These red and white buildings stand out against the blue sky and white clouds. There is a stupa of the fifth living Buddha in the temple, and many Tibetans outside the temple turn around to worship. There is a forest and grassland next to the temple, and it is very quiet at sunrise and sunset.
Go through the woods and you will find the langmusi Grand Canyon. Clear river flows out of the canyon, which has tiger caves and fairy caves. Legend has it that old grandmother Rum lived there. In order to get rid of the tiger's feathers, she turned to stone and stood in the cave with the tiger. Upstream along the canyon, the rocks are rugged and the river is gurgling. Finally, you can climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the whole town.
Introduction:
1. Transportation: The transportation in langmusi is not very convenient. It is best to drive or charter a car. There is a shuttle bus to the bus station of Hezuo City in Gannan Prefecture during the summer tourist season, and there is no bus in other seasons;
2. Accommodation: There are hotels, inns and youth tours in the town, and the prices range from tens to hundreds of yuan;
3. Diet: Sichuan cuisine is the main food. There are many Sichuan restaurants in the town, as well as some Tibetan restaurants and Hui snacks.
4. Weather: It is cool in sunny summer, which is suitable for summer. When it rains, the temperature will drop below 10 degrees, so even if you travel in summer, you need to bring a medium-thick coat (preferably a coat). In winter, the temperature will be below zero and it will snow.
