Tragedy! 8 cars in Guilin section of Guangxi Expressway rear-ended in a chain, with debris all over the ground!

During my stay in Spring Festival travel rush, besides airplanes and trains, driving was also one of the important modes of travel. Although I hope everyone is safe, accidents always come out of the blue.

A serious traffic accident occurred in Guilin section of G65 Baomao Expressway, killing three people.

On the afternoon of June 65438+1October 17, an 8-car rear-end collision occurred in Lingui Sitang section of G65 Baomao Expressway in Guilin, resulting in 3 deaths and 2 injuries and vehicle damage.

At about 3: 25 pm on June 65438+1October 17, a major road traffic accident occurred at the 2494 km+100 m of expressway in Baomao, G65.

There was a van before and after the accident scene, and there were many cars in the middle. Some cars were severely deformed after being hit, and some cars rolled over in expressway, and the scene was a mess.

At present, accident investigation and aftermath are being actively carried out.

Here, I also remind the vast number of returnees:

First, fully prepare for travel, plan travel routes in advance, and effectively avoid congested road sections;

It is necessary to check the weather in advance, especially to prepare for safe driving in bad weather such as rain and fog, and carefully check the safety performance of vehicles before driving. In rainy and foggy days, it is necessary to "speed limit, control distance and light tail".

Second, we must abide by traffic laws and regulations, drive carefully, drive in a safe and civilized manner, do not illegally park at high speed, do not overspeed or overload, slow down in time when road vehicles are driving slowly, turn on danger warning lights, keep a safe distance, and do not occupy emergency lanes;

Special attention should be paid to try not to catch up with the night road and drive fatigue. If you drive continuously for 4 hours during the day and 2 hours at night, you should enter the service area to rest for at least 20 minutes.

Third, if you need to stop in an emergency, you should do a good job of safety protection. When there is a minor traffic accident, the car should be pulled over first, and people should evacuate first before calling the police.

Chinese New Year is coming, I hope everyone can go home safely!
