Did the grassland in Inner Mongolia turn green on June 2nd this year?

In order to fully reflect the regreening and growth of natural grasslands, the Grassland Supervision and Administration Bureau of the Autonomous Region, together with the Grassland Survey and Planning Institute, organized the grassland supervision and administration institutions of League City and Qixian County to set up 5 19 monitoring plots, and conducted field monitoring from April 15 to May 20, 2005. The results are as follows:

Generally speaking, the temperature is high this spring, the precipitation is less, and the greening time in most areas is extended. Generally, the green turning time of pasture is 5 ~ 10 days earlier than normal, and the green turning time of Xing 'an League and Wulanchabu City is 5 ~ 15 days later. After entering May, the whole region generally experienced precipitation and the vegetation turned green. As of May 20th, the average height of natural grassland grasses in the whole region was 3.8 1 ~ 12.28 cm, and the coverage was 6.48 ~ 34.92%.

From different areas, due to the high spring temperature and less rainfall in Hulunbeier city in the east, the natural grassland grass turned green 5 ~ 10 days earlier than normal, and the turning green period was longer. After entering May, it continued to rain and the forage grass grew optimistically. Among them, the grass height in Zuo Qi of Xinbaerhu is 13 ~ 18 cm, the coverage is 36 ~ 50%, and the fresh weight is 28.0 1 ~ 38.69kg/ mu. Xinbaerhu Right Banner has a plant height of 5 ~ 15cm, a coverage of 5 ~ 15% and a fresh weight of 6.67 ~ 34.68kg/ mu. The plant height 12 ~ 18cm, coverage 30 ~ 60% and fresh weight 26.68 ~ 93.38kg/ mu in Chenbahu Banner. The grass height in Ewenki Banner is 10 ~ 18cm, the coverage is 30 ~ 60%, and the fresh weight is 26.65 ~ 84.04kg/ mu. There is less precipitation in winter and spring in Xing 'an League, and the grass turns green 5 ~ 10 days later than normal. After entering May, the rainfall increased obviously and the grass turned green. The grass height in Xing 'an League is 4.85~8.00cm, the coverage is 4.33 ~ 12.50%, and the fresh weight is 12.90 ~ 25. 12 kg/mu. The natural grassland in Tongliao turned green 3 ~ 5 days earlier than normal, but the grass grew poorly due to less rainfall. The temperature is high in early spring in Chifeng city, and the grass turns green early. The greening period of the whole city is generally about 10 days earlier than last year, but the sudden drop of temperature in May has a certain impact on the greening and development of grass.

The grassland greening time in Xilin Gol League in the central region is 5 ~ 8 days earlier than normal, the average height of grass group is 6.9 cm, the coverage is generally around 40%, and the grass greening rate is around 60%. Among them, Wulagai, Zuo Qi, Su Nite and Huang Qi are poorly afforested, while other areas are basically afforested. From autumn and winter last year to May this year, there was less precipitation in Wulanchabu, and the urban soil moisture was generally poor, with high terrain and low temperature, and the greening situation was poor. There was a large-scale rainfall in mid-May, which promoted the regreening and growth of pasture. The grass in Wulanchabu is 3 ~ 12 cm high, with coverage of 4 ~ 25% and fresh weight of 2.7 ~ 25.8kg/mu. In Hohhot and Baotou, the grass turned green 10 days earlier this spring. In Baotou area, the grass height is 7 ~ 13 cm, the coverage is 1 1.5 ~ 40%, and the yield is14 ~ 40kg fresh grass/mu, which is basically the same as last year.

On the whole, the grassland in Ordos city in the western region is not as green as the same period last year. Since the spring of this year, the temperature has been high and the effective rainfall is less. Some areas turned green ahead of schedule, Wushen Banner was 2-5 days ahead of schedule, and Otog Banner was 7- 10 days ahead of schedule. In mid-April, there was a large-scale rainfall in the city, and the soil moisture improved. However, there was a wave of cold wave, rain and snow in late April, which affected the growth of grass. Grass height 12.64 ~ 40.67 cm, grass coverage 23.38 ~ 40.00%, fresh weight 26.77~50.59kg/ mu. The temperature in Bayannaoer and Wuhai areas has been higher than normal since the spring, and it turned green about 10 days earlier. There is little difference between natural grassland greening in Alashan League and normal years, but due to the influence of abnormal climate, the greening period is prolonged. Since the middle and late April, the continuous strong winds and cooling weather in the whole league have brought some precipitation, and at the same time, natural disasters such as dust, frost and hail have appeared in some areas, which have adversely affected the vegetation that has turned green.
