Coincidentally, at about 8: 40 on June 5, three huge hailstorms suddenly fell in Dongbo Village, Boluonuo Town, Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City. At that time, there were no clouds in Wan Li.

What are these "natural ice" substances? Are they meteorite ice? In just ten days, the phenomenon of "sky ice" appeared twice in Hebei. What is the reason? At present, the "Tian Bing" discovered in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County has been sampled and analyzed by experts from Beijing Observatory. The "sky ice" in Renqiu City has also attracted the attention of the Beijing Planetarium. Yesterday afternoon, Zhang Baolin, a meteorite expert from Beijing Planetarium, and other experts rushed to Renqiu for sampling.

At 5 o'clock on June 14, the wife of Mr. Liu, a villager from Dongligezhuang Village, Beixinzhuang Township, Renqiu City, was suddenly awakened by a loud noise in her sleep. "I feel that the whole house is shaking." Mr. Liu's wife said that she thought there was an earthquake and ran out of the house. After finding nothing unusual, she returned to the house in confusion.

After a while, Mr. Liu's wife was attracted by the louder voice outside. "When I walked out of the house, I saw the villagers standing on the roofs of my neighbors, looking at my roofs and pointing fingers." Mr. Liu's wife said that she didn't know until she asked the villagers who were watching. Just now, there was a huge noise, and the houses around her were shaking. Everyone thought there was an earthquake, so they ran out of the house.

After discovering that it was not an earthquake, some villagers said that the loud noise came from the roof of Mr. Liu's house, so many villagers climbed to the roof of their house to see the roof of Mr. Liu's house. Liu Dongsheng, a villager, said that when they were standing on the roof, they saw that the satellite antenna on the roof of Mr. Liu's house had been severely deformed. According to many villagers, there was no wind, it was not cloudy, and the sun had not yet come out. The sudden heavy hail puzzled them. On the same day, Mr. Liu, who heard the news, thought it was very strange and quickly reported the situation to the local meteorological department.

Yesterday, some villagers recalled to reporters that they also heard the buzzing sound before Tian Bing landed.

The "sky ice" of the meteorological department has nothing to do with the weather.

Peng, deputy director of Renqiu Meteorological Bureau, told reporters that they arrived at Mr. Liu's home at around 7: 00 on June 5438+04. Peng said that after their on-site inspection, they initially confirmed that the sudden huge hail had nothing to do with the weather.

In order to further verify, Director Peng also specially checked the satellite cloud picture and radar map after returning to the Meteorological Bureau. He said that there are no hail clouds and convective clouds on the satellite cloud image, and there is no sign of radar callback. "1 It just rained, but the time was short and the rainfall was not great." Director Peng said that if it is hail, it should be not one piece, but many, all around the village.

Director Peng said that there was a sudden huge hail in Mr. Liu's house. According to the on-site investigation and inspection of meteorological equipment, it had nothing to do with the weather, but the meteorological department could not explain the specific reasons and needed investigation by other relevant departments such as the Planetarium.

According to Mr. Liu, this "natural ice" is spherical, about 90 cm in diameter, incalculable in weight, white in color, not very transparent and a little dirty. "There is no smell. As for the taste, no one dares to taste it. " Mr Liu told reporters that in order to find out, he put two fist-sized "Tian Bing" in the refrigerator.

Nine days ago, the villagers in Dongbo Village, Boluonuo Town, Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City and the villagers in East Li Ge Village had the same doubts-there was also "natural ice", and it was three pieces.

It is understood that at about 8: 40 on June 5th, Xiuqin Yang, a villager from Dong Bo Village, was digging in the cornfield beside Niuhe River when he suddenly heard a strange sound of "grunting" in the sky. Xiuqin Yang looked up and saw a white object falling in the clear sky with a loud voice, and fell into the forest about 300 meters away with a loud grunt. After a while, Xiuqin Yang saw two white objects falling from the sky and hitting the beach and corn fields about 200 meters away. Xiuqin Yang and the villagers who heard the news found three pieces of fallen "ice" in the Woods by the river and the nearby cornfields. They saw that the scattered places of "ice" were about 200 meters apart, the smallest piece was about 30 cm in diameter, and the largest two pieces smashed a pit with a depth of more than 20 cm and a diameter of about 75 cm.

Wu Xiaojun, director of the Meteorological Bureau of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, confirmed that from 8: 00 am to 9: 00 am on June 5, satellite cloud images and radar maps showed that there were no clouds and the sky was clear.

Zhang Baolin, a meteorite expert from Beijing Planetarium, immediately rushed to the scene for investigation after learning that there was "natural ice" in Fengning, and brought back 500 grams of samples to Beijing for testing.

The latest development experts went to Renqiu to take samples yesterday.

What is the "natural ice" in Fengning and Renqiu? Is it meteorite ice? If they are all falling ice, Hebei appears twice in ten days. What is the reason? With these questions, yesterday, the reporter contacted Zhang Baolin, a meteorite expert at the Beijing Planetarium. According to him, the "Tian Bing" sample collected by Fengning is still being tested, so it is not convenient to publish it. At the same time, he said that the possibility of falling ice is not ruled out.

Regarding Renqiu's "natural ice", Zhang Baolin said after understanding the situation that it was initially suspected to be meteorite ice. Zhang Baolin said that there were two suspected ice falls in Hebei province, which could not be explained at present and needed further study.

Yesterday afternoon, Zhang Baolin and other three experts rushed to Renqiu for sampling. Zhang Baolin said that if it is meteorite ice, it will have great research value.
