According to Complete Works of Sanfeng, Miscellaneous Notes of Yang Guang, and All Schools' General Books, etc. Zhang Sanfeng got the Dan tactic from the real dragon, followed Mr. Li He from Mayi, and got a series of biographies of Liu Haichan from Shaoyang. The origin of Taoism also says that Zhang Sanfeng learned from Chen. And now the research thinks that he and Chen Tuan School (Shi Wen School? ) has deep roots. The real dragon is Jia Desheng, and its owner is Chen Tuan, the founder of Yi Xi. According to the Biography of Chen Tuan in Song Dynasty, Lv Dongbin went to Zhai several times.

Zhang Sanfeng said in Song of the Dragon: "Heaven spread the sleeping method to Tunan, and the learning of Tunan continued, and the sloppy Taoist Zhang." In the Secret Recipe of Taiji Alchemy, Chen Tuan is called "the ancestor of Yi Xi" and Mr. Fire Dragon is called "my teacher". He also said that the real dragon was not famous because he despised the floating name and left the world with only one quatrain. Its quatrains say: "The road number is even connected with Zheng Huolong, and its name is hidden in vain. Since the third harvest, I have returned to Penglai weak Water East. " Later, Li Xiyue, a Taoist priest in the Qing Dynasty who worshipped Zhang Sanfeng as a teacher, classified Sanfeng School as a hidden immortal school represented by Chen Tuan, and listed its inheritance as: "Ma Yi passed on Yi Xi, Yi Xi passed on the fire dragon, and the fire dragon passed on Sanfeng."

I eat a lot, always full of a bucket, but sometimes I only eat a meal for a few days, and sometimes I don't even eat it for months. Reading is unforgettable and unpredictable. Some people say that he can walk thousands of miles a day. I like a witty smile, regardless of other people's eyes.

Zhang Sanfeng once traveled to Wudang Mountain and said to people, "This mountain will be rich and expensive in another day." At that time, Wulong Palace, Southern Yan Palace and Zixiao Palace were all destroyed by the war. So Zhang Sanfeng and his disciples cut through difficulties and built a thatched cottage here, but later they gave up this place.

In the twenty-fourth year of Hongwu, Ming Taizu heard about Zhang Sanfeng's reputation and sent someone to look for him, but he didn't find it.

Zhang Sanfeng later lived in Jintai Temple, Baoji. One day he said he should die, and then he left an ode and died. People in the county raised money to buy him a coffin. When they were buried, everyone heard a sound in the coffin. When they opened it, Zhang Sanfeng came back to life. After that, Zhang Sanfeng went to Sichuan and met Wang. I went to Wudang Mountain again and traveled around Hubei, and my whereabouts became more and more legendary.

During Yongle period, Ming Chengzu sent Hu Hu and Zhu Xiang to visit Zhang Sanfeng, but they searched in the wilderness for several years and found nothing. Later, he sent assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry, Xin and others from Longping, with more than 300,000 Ding Fu, and spent millions to build Wudang Palace. After completion, it was named Taihe Taiyue Mountain, and officials were stationed here, which fulfilled Zhang Sanfeng's prediction.

It is also said that Zhang Sanfeng was from the Jin Dynasty. In the early years of the Yuan Dynasty, he followed Liu Xueyi and then studied Taoism in Taiqing Palace. But none of this can be tested. Tianshun for three years, Ming Yingzong decreed that it was a real person. After all, no one knows whether he is alive or dead.

Main idea

Zhang Sanfeng studied Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, including Neo-Confucianism. Zhang Sanfeng believes that "Tao" is the same origin of the three religions, the symbol of the birth of heaven and earth, the machine of Yin and Yang, the mystery, the unification of the infinite, the birth of Tai Chi, and the root, origin and master of all things. Zhang Sanfeng thinks that the distinction between good and evil is more important than that between the three religions. He said that Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism all preach, and their functions are to "cultivate one's morality and benefit others". "Confucianism can't be a Confucian, Buddha can't be a Buddha, and immortal can't be an immortal without this way", Confucianism "walks in Dao Ji", Buddhism "realizes the world" and Taoism "teaches by hiding the Tao". Just like Confucius, Laozi preached "cultivate one's morality with a righteous heart". Confucian self-cultivation, immortal cultivation. Zhang Sanfeng regards the cultivation of human nature as the basis of refining the way of becoming immortal, and emphasizes that no matter whether you are noble, stupid, old or young, as long as you are virtuous, kind, compassionate, loyal and filial, it is all about human nature, and it is not far from the way of becoming immortal. He combined the Taoist thought of internal refining with the Confucian theory of rectifying body and mind, saying: "If people can rectify body and mind, they will really concentrate on it, and great virtue will be born from it."

His cultivation method advocates dual cultivation of life, but there is also the view of dual cultivation of yin and yang, which has been used in sexual art by later generations. Zhang Sanfeng's works include The Complete Works of Tan Xuan, Mysterious Articles, Poems of Rootless Trees and so on. The Complete Works of Mr. Zhang Sanfeng, which is included in the Collected Works of Taoism, also makes an important introduction to Taoist martial arts and Taoist music.

Taoist schools that appeared in Ming and Qing Dynasties were mostly related to Zhang Sanfeng, such as Baoji Sanfeng School, Wudang Sanfeng School, Wuwangshan Sanfeng School, Sanfeng Natural School, Sanfeng Penglai School and Sanfeng Rixin School. Li Xiyue claimed to have personally seen Zhang Sanfeng during Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty, and was active in Leshan, Sichuan, where he founded one of the largest schools of Taoism at that time.
