Summary of geography teaching in the first volume of the seventh grade

Because of the shortage of geography teachers, I have been teaching geography in three classes of grade seven this semester. Now I will summarize my work from the following aspects:

First, carefully analyze and make a reasonable education and teaching plan.

The textbooks used in the seventh grade of this semester are compulsory education curriculum standards and experimental textbooks. What are the main contents? Earth and map? Land and sea? Weather and climate? Residents and settlements? Development and cooperation? I hope that the students of this grade can understand the basic methods and skills of geography learning through learning, but since the subject I taught before is not geography, this time it is direct contact. The students of grade seven have just been promoted from primary school to junior high school, right? Geography? This concept is vague. Geography is a science subject in the senior high school entrance examination, and the score is brought into the total score, which brings me great pressure. This requires me, through communication and indirect understanding with students, to have a general impression of their learning attitude, learning habits and learning methods, to make practical plans for this semester, to make a good catalogue, and to make clear the teaching focus of this semester.

Second, prepare lessons carefully, attend classes and review your homework carefully.

(1) The quality of lesson preparation determines the effect of a class. In order to have a good class, I study hard the teaching materials, consult the materials, and learn all kinds of new educational and teaching ideas and means. Because I participated in geography teaching for the first time and came into contact with the new textbook for the first time, I didn't grasp the ideological content and teaching methods of the textbook enough. So in order to prepare lessons, I took pains to ask my classmates and learn from their experience.

(B) I strive to achieve intensive reading teaching.

In the classroom, actively guide students to be familiar with the text of teaching materials, attach importance to the training of reading pictures, and strengthen the cultivation of students' cooperative inquiry ability. The training questions are carefully selected and guided in time when there are problems, which improves the learning effect of students and enhances their interest in learning.

(3) Take every student's homework seriously.

There are more than 60 students in each class, and each batch of homework is a heavy task, but I think it is a mission and I feel a heavy responsibility, because homework is to experience students' understanding and digestion of classroom knowledge. I give good encouragement and praise to students who do their homework well, and I don't beat students who do their homework badly. x? When you are finished, give the correct answer next to it. I also comment in class, making homework a platform for me to communicate with students. Let them realize that homework can't be perfunctory.

Actively participate in school-based research.
