Geographical environment of Huang An town

topography

Huang An Town is located in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. Although it is close to the Yellow River, the mother river of China, it belongs to the Huaihe River Basin. All previous floods and sediments of the Yellow River are alluvial plains covered with loess, with flat terrain and deep soil layers, which belong to a part of the new subsidence basin in the North China Plain. It is hot in summer and cold in winter here, with four distinct seasons. There is little rain in spring, the north-south wind alternates frequently, and the temperature rises rapidly; Summer is hot and humid, with frequent southeast wind blowing and concentrated rainfall; In autumn, the rainfall gradually decreases, the wind direction turns from south to north, and the temperature drops rapidly; In winter, rain and snow are scarce, the north wind blows more, and the climate is dry and cold. It is sunny all year round, rich in heat, rainy and hot in the same season, suitable for the growth of many crops. However, the uneven distribution of precipitation is often influenced by the northern continental air mass, which leads to disastrous weather once in many years.
