The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau belongs to the plateau and mountainous climate because the altitude is mostly above 4000 meters.

Most of the northwest region is far from the ocean and close to the source of Asian high, which is continental and belongs to temperate continental climate.

The latitudes in Heilongjiang and northern Inner Mongolia are high, and the annual accumulated temperature is below 1400, which belongs to the cold zone coniferous forest climate.

The precipitation in North China, Northeast China and Loess Plateau is below 800 mm, which is influenced by summer monsoon and belongs to temperate monsoon climate.

Jiangnan, South China and Southwest China are greatly influenced by the southeast and southwest monsoon, and the precipitation is above 1000mm, which belongs to subtropical monsoon climate.

Xishuangbanna, Leizhou Peninsula and southern Taiwan Province Province are located in the tropics, mostly controlled by southwest and southeast monsoon, with high temperature all year round and divided into dry and wet seasons, which belong to tropical monsoon climate.
